| on the way to work for the first time since I bought it 9 years ago. Had a short in the bundle going to the relay block on the DS fender where the MAF lead splits off. No tools, 90 degrees and humid at 7:30 in the morning. Second on a flatbed driver that treated her like she was his own... and then hung out for a while as I started troubleshooting. Haven't had a problem since then but that was the catalyst that led to the purchase of the Z34 Roadster. I think she was just lonely in the garage at night and throwing a temper tantrum. :)
Years ago, I asked an old guy that was a Porsche guru if you could put a 914 motor in a bug. I have applied his response to many situations since then......"Son, you could put a winshield wiper on a billy goats ass, but I don't know why you would want to".
